What an amazing event- Hills Sports Sydney mixed netball league review.

Over the past four days Hills Indoor Sports has played host to the Hills Sports Sydney mixed netball league. The tournament featured international opposition from Singapore, NSW state players, a number of Australian representative players as well as amateur indoor netball players.

The first edition of the Hills Sports Sydney mixed netball league was a major success with 15 excellent matches taking place throughout the tournament. 1091 goals were scored throughout the event. Our inaugural champions were the red hot favourites "HUNTER". Boasting some of the best indoor netballers NSW has to offer it's no surprise they took out the event, a huge congratulations to HUNTER from the team at Hills Indoor Sports Centre, well deserved champions.

Our Singaporean guests put on a great show of sportsmanship and ability whilst competing throughout the week. The team defeated the Unoriginals on day two of the event to claim their only win for the event. Singapore battled hard and played with unity throughout the event and we commend them for this. The team at Hills Indoor Sports would like to thank all members of the touring party for their friendliness and kindness throughout their time at Hills Indoor Sports. We hope to one day see Singapore on our courts again.

Personally, I would like to thank all the players and umpires who were involved during the event. All teams involved did themselves proud and played all their matches in the right spirit. We look forward to seeing you again in our next 7-a-side tournament.

Finally, I would like to thank our umpires Jane, Judy, Cath, Jeff and Mel for their efforts throughout the week. To host prestigious tournament such as this one you need the best team of umpires and that's exactly what we have. Thank you for all your hard work throughout the event.
