Super 8's Indoor Premier League V9 Finals heat up.

Week 1 of the Super 8's Indoor Premier League finals showcased 4 excellent Cricket teams who were all vying to win their first piece of Silverware at Hills Indoor Sports.

First place at the end of the season, Cow Da Boys earnt a well deserved rest week in the new 5 team Finals format.

2 vs 3 Final:

Pippa's Heroes defeated 12th Men 161-29.

A stellar batting performance by Pippa's Heroes that saw 4 batsman make 30+ runs was enough to command a monster first innings total for 12th Men to chase down. Rajan was the pick of the bowlers for 12th Men with 2 fir 13 off his two overs.

The mammoth total was enough to put Pippa's Heroes through to a second week showdown with Cow Da Boys for a place in the Grand Final. 12th Men will regroup and meet Flat Track Bullies in Week 2's elimination final.

4 vs 5 Final:

Flat Track Bullies defeated Men In Blue 143-100.

The Flat Track Bullies came out with a real purpose in their first finals appearance at Hills Indoor Sports. An impressive total of 143 runs off their 16 overs with a high of 32 from Shankar was enough to seal a spot in the second week of the finals. Not even a gutsy chase from men In Blue was enough to damper the spirits of the Bullies who keep their title hopes alive with an excellent win.

The Flat Track Bullies move onto week 2 of the finals where they will meet 12th Men in the Elimination Final.

Week 2 of the finals will be as follows:

Major Semi Final: Cow Ba Boys vs Pippa's Heroes- 7.15pm.

Elimination Semi Final: 12th Men vs Flat Track Bullies- 9pm.
